2001: First year of the 4x4 Eco Challenge

2002: Second year of the 4x4 Eco Challenge
     
Started on the farm Aussenkehr, Namibia Entering the Namib for the first time at Namtip in the South Crossing some of the highest Namib Dunes
     
Reaching the Kunene River Mouth Catching sharks In support of the Bronze whaler project
     
Experiencing some of the wonders of the Namib As well as its joys And its agony
     

2003: Third year of the 4x4 Eco Challenge
     
Crossing borders into Angola On the Angolan banks of the Kunene Baios dos Tigros
     
Inland lakes at Arco Engaments counting as another first for the Eco Challenge Recapturing bronze whaler sharks from Namibian waters
     
 
Crossing magnificent mountain passes To visit manmade wonders  
     

2004: Four year of the 4x4 Eco Challenge
     
Saw us crossing over into new frontiers Through deep waters With our major sponsors pulling their weight
     
Reaching our most northernly point ever Finding the biggest grubs As well as a variety of snakes
     
 
And the tallest lizards In the footsteps of David Livingston  

2005: Five years of 4x4 Eco Challenge
     
4x4 Eco Challenge Final's Team   The SARCA project is proving very successful - this rough-scaled plated lizard is one of the many reptiles recorded so far on the 2005 Goodyear 4x4 Eco Challenge
     
convoy driving is an integral part of the Goodyear 4x4 Eco Challenge - in this case in the wonderful Kruger National Park . It was a friendly soccer match between Fumani Primary School and the Goodyear 4x4 Eco Challenge - but everyone took it seriously. It eventually went the way of the school team.

The northern part of the Kruger National Park near Pafuri features the ancient baobabs which stand out boldly from the surrounding landscape.

     
     

2006: Sixt year of the 4x4 Eco Challenge
